Tim Labenda

The Berlin-based designer has been on Vogue Germany’s radar since the beginning. Discover why

Tim Labenda got his first break at the beginning of 2013, when he was discovered by Vogue Germany editor-in-chief Christiane Arp. Tim studied fashion design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Pforzheim, before moving on to Hugo Boss. Despite his roots as a menswear designer, Labenda has turned his attention to womenswear, experimenting with different textures, and silhouettes.

His aesthetic is understated yet very straightforward. Authentic, cool and extremely elegant, Labenda’s love for womenswear shines through. His understated yet straight-forward aesthetic speaks to self-assured intellectual women with a strong appreciation for beauty.

The foundation of his womenswear collection is still based on classic menswear attributes – tailoring, high-quality fabric and finding the perfect fit.
