Kenza’s Guide to PFW - kenza-header

Digital influencer Kenza Sadoun-El Glaoui guide for experiencing the City of Lights like a local.

How is Parisian style different?
Paris is the last city to hold shows, and it’s also the city where the Parisian is in the spotlight. I feel that fashion’s players are more relaxed in Paris with their styles, more minimalist.

What is the key to a killer outfit?
For me, a successful look is a look that you feel good in and you adapt to its shape. I like the combo of high-waisted jeans with a t-shirt and jacket (teddy, perfecto, or trench coat) dotted with accessories, in particular by jewels

What pieces will everyone be wearing during fashion week this season?
Candy pink clothes, wrinkled long skirts, treated sheepskin jackets, oversize down jackets, and baby doll dresses layered with cotton t-shirts.

If you could wear anything you want to fashion week what would it be?
A beautiful oversized faux fur from the 90s, like you see from Fendi or Chloé.

Which shoes will you be living in this fashion week?
I can’t do without my sneakers, I keep pumps for parties. So it will be between the Nike Cortez and adidas Les Gazelle. It’s not very glam, but when you are riding a bike all day, that is the most practical, and in the end it’s original, no?

What was the last song I shazzamed during a show?
I don’t use Shazam because I try to take photos during the shows.

Snapchat or Instagram? Both/Neither and Why?
Snapchat a lot. Instagram a little less because my photos are always blurry.

Fashion Week survival tip?
Don’t spend too much time at the parties, but do go to a few.

Your favorite hidden city spot?
The café doesn’t have a name yet because it just opened, but it’s a true café where you can go with your laptop, for a coffee, a fruit juice or a piece of cake, it’s located at 107 Avenue Ledru Rollin 75011 Paris.

Kenza’s Guide to PFW - la-paradis

Introduced in the 1980s by Claude Louzon and his brothers, the franchise upset the landscape at the time with a fresh and timeless concept. Revisited by Philippe Starck in 2009, Le Paradis du Fruit specializes in natural cuisine and promotes pleasure, health and an exchange of new ideas.

Kenza’s Guide to PFW - pigalle

Mythical and imposing, languid and frenetic, Pigalle is a neon light in the Parisian night. The area is home to artists, musicians, adventurers and Le Pigalle hotel, whose history was shaped by the cultural mix that swirls on the southern slopes of Montmartre. Drop in for a drink, night (out) or a coffee, the authentic neighbourhood hotel has something for everyone.
