Introducing LVRSustainable together with Oxfam to fight discrimination and work towards equality - 1
Ph.Fabeha Monir

LVRSustainable introduces a new initiative with the International NGO, Oxfam. The collaboration seeks to educate on the many and diverse types of inequality that exist. By spreading awareness and the option to donate, LVRSustainable supports the communication of the activities on which Oxfam works towards fighting against inequalities so that anyone can have access to basic rights and to ensure women their empowerment and access to sources of income, so that they can be independent and valued within the communities in which they live.

The initiative will share stories of real life women and the changes they have been empowered to achieve with the help of Oxfam and your donations. Each of us can help change the lives of women in more ways than one.

Inequality means an unequal distribution of power, resources and opportunity.
It means abundance for few and poverty for many.
It means the poor remain poor and powerless.
It means millions of people deprived of their basic human rights: water, health and education.

Inequality and discrimination tend to have the face of a woman in many places in the world.
Gender-based violence remains one of the most common human rights abuses in the world. In many countries, women are severely penalized in access to services such as water, health and education; they are fully responsible for caring for their family and children, and are forced to accept unpaid, low wage jobs. Patriarchy and other forms of oppression support discriminatory power relationships leading to exclusion, exploitation, and more. A donation from you can help to ensure basic rights and empowerment for women while allowing access to sources of income, so that they can be independent and valued within the communities in which they live. You have the ability to contribute to clean drinking water for a community, support a drip irrigation system for women to run a cultivation garden for income, and also contribute to embroidery kits to help women begin their own businesses.
