LVR Index June 2021 for Women

Topping off our monthly Index for June — Gucci. Leave it up to Alessandro Michele to keep bringing freshness and innovation to the storied House. This month, we’ve been exploring the iconic bags and accessories in new colorways from the Beloved Lines — perfect to combine with monochrome whites or why not go all-out in full-on prints? Coming in second: Bottega Veneta. This month, we have been gushing over the brand’s line-up of modern essentials, titled Wardrobe 02. Clean cuts, unexpected textures, and hues — do not make the mistake of missing out.
Another brand we have a hard time keeping our hands off is Saint Laurent. Coming in at number three this month, we have Anthony Vaccarello’s sexy, Parisian-chic vibes. With the warmer climes finally reaching us, we cannot think of a better opportunity to rock lacey shorts, sultry mini-dresses, and silk chemises. For those wanting to channel a more romantic look, check out Valentino who is taking fourth place on our monthly Index. Right now, we are coveting the cotton boucle mini shorts and matching crop tops — who doesn’t love matching sets in the summer?
If there’s one brand you can count on to keep your look interesting and casual, it’s Balenciaga. The brand topping the fifth placement on our monthly Index recently launched its anticipated Fall 21 collection: asymmetrical outerwear and dresses with exceptional details in treatment and cuts. Whether you’re opting for the tough, vintage, or sporty styles — there’s something for everyone.
Topping sixth place: power looks from Balmain. Suit up with matching tweed sets in bright pastels. If there is anyone who knows how to do an exaggerated shoulder pad, it for sure is Olivier Rousteing.
Coming in at number seven: Versace. The decadence of the 1990s has always been synonymous with the Italian fashion house and its latest collection, featuring bold colors and sculptural styles, is no exception. One thing that we especially loved this month — the attention to detail afforded by glamorous jewelry and hair accessories. As always with Versace: more is more.
In contrast, our eighth placement of the month is known for its more subtle approach to fashion — Loewe. Whether you’re looking for a shirt dress, a straw bag, or the ultimate leather flat, you can always count on the Spanish House to deliver exceptional artisanal craftmanship and word-class design. Next up: Alexander McQueen. As always, the British House channels the perfect mix between tough and tender. This season it’s done through puff-sleeves and mega skirted dresses, paired with combat boots and sharp jewelry.
Lastly, we conclude our Index for June 2021 with another favorite of ours: Dolce & Gabbana. Whether you’re planning an Italian summer escape or just simply want to infuse your wardrobe with bright colors, sensual cuts, and lively prints (because who wouldn’t?), have a look at the Italian brand for the ultimate dose of summer.
As we close the month of June, we hope you feel inspired to explore the endless styling possibilities with our monthly favorites. See you back in July!
