Carine Roitfeld: A living legend who, after a decade as the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, went on to build herself an empire, launching CR Fashion Book, the biannual fashion tome of a magazine; CR Studio, a creative content house that’s responsible for the styling of top-tier runway shows and campaigns; and now, CR Runway, an annual fashion show to be personally curated by Roitfeld herself.

Piergiorgio Del Moro: One of the most well-known names in casting is Del Moro, who ditched a law career for production—and never looked back. He has done casting for the most prestigious runways in fashion, including Louis Vuitton, Versace, Dries Van Noten, Fendi, Givenchy, Max Mara, Saint Laurent, and Tom Ford. “Images of beauty have always inspired me, particularly the models of the ‘80s and ‘90s,” he once said, essentially making him the only choice to cast the CR Runway’s tribute to the ‘90s.

Michel Gaubert: Fashion’s leading sound director got his start after working as a buyer at an independent Paris record shop and then DJ-ing at Le Palace. But his big break came when Karl Lagerfeld discovered him and, for nearly 30 years thereafter, Gaubert became the go-to for all of Chanel’s runway music. Having carved out a career that lives at the intersection between music and fashion, he’s known for his experiential and wide-ranging soundtracks for houses like Moschino, Balenciaga, Valentino, and Dior.

Tom Pecheux: Roitfeld and Pecheux go way back—to when she was a burgeoning editor and he was a fresh-faced makeup artist. Together, along with Tom Ford, they formed a formidable three-person force during Gucci’s era of glam and glitz of the ‘90s. And after years of concepting iconic beauty looks for campaigns and becoming a fixture backstage at runway shows (Chanel, Altuzarra, Marni, and more), the renowned makeup artist was appointed the global beauty director of YSL Beauté in 2017.
