LVR Index February 2021 for Women
This month should come to no surprise that once again the beloved Gucci is first for both men and women in our LVR Index. I mean, indisputably Gucci has been setting the standards within the world of luxury thanks to their constant evolution and hard-to-miss impeccable craftsmanship. No one can go wrong by adding a touch of Gucci to their everyday attire. Sitting right next to Gucci in the second position for women this month is Jacquemus. As we all continue to fall in love with the brand’s clever social media tactics, romantic French designs and fearless inclusivity, so do our wardrobes. Elegant, cropped essentials and fluid silhouettes, need we say more? Alexander McQueen follows the French goddesses with enticing looks from their SS21 collection. The allure of Alexander McQueen stems from their decades of experience and ever-so-clever way of keeping up and defining the new trends of the moment. At number four for women is Valentino, jumping up five positions from the previous month after their Couture went digital. Burberry, always a constant and a must for every closet, comes in at five this month after being one of the first luxury brands to pay off their COVID-19 relief funds. Keeping in good terms is always essential for running an efficient luxury business. Loewe stays constant within our top ten this month after opening up its first storefront in Southern California, making luxury leather craftsmanship available to all, one store at a time. At number seven is Bottega Veneta falling back a few slots, but that doesn’t change the amount of edge and impact this brand has within the world of luxury design. Their proof that design beats logo is what makes them iconic, putting more focus on what’s to come for the future. Balenciaga makes an appearance also in our women’s category as the brand is labelled one of the most loved brands amongst younger generations. This means the Spanish dynasty isn’t going anywhere for a long time thanks to always adjusting their outstanding craftsmanship to contemporary design. Moncler comes in at nine for women this month as cooler days continue to linger, followed by Saint Laurent with bold tailoring, iconic color palettes and sensual silhouettes.
