LVR Index January 2021 for Women
What would any woman do without her Gucci? Seems like it’s not just us who are obsessed with the luxury brand that continues to redesign each angle of our closets and the fashion world. The brand breaks from their traditional boundaries and opens itself up to creative collaborations with iconic brands. Think to their latest: North Face or the Japanese manga-inspired Doraemon ©Fujiko-Pro. One can never go wrong with Gucci. Right behind Gucci is the logoless brand keeping us all at the edge of our seats: Bottega Veneta. The moment Bottega Veneta went offline was the moment we all went wild. What’s next for the iconic brand we can’t get enough of? Stay tuned and spice up your look with their latest SS21 essentials. At number three this month in our LVR Index for women is Alexander McQueen. News is that the brand expanded quite a bit in recent years and plans on continuing to do so with more storefronts to pop up worldwide. Jacquemus claims the fourth position with a recent campaign featuring Moroccan models Noral Attal, Imaan Hammam and Malika El-Maslouhi. One word for the campaign: flawless. Right after the French brand is Loewe in the middle slot for our monthly roundup of top brands for women. Just like Gucci, also Loewe has collaborated with a famous Eastern Asian icon: Studio Ghibli. Things just keep getting better as both Western and Eastern cultures merge together. Balenciaga comes in at number six, giving us a videogame to enjoy their latest collection drops. Following closely behind at number seven is Burberry. Riccardo Tisci struck a chord in our hearts with his latest collection featuring dynamic prints and outdoor inspirations. Saint Laurent’s ‘Summer of ‘21’ campaign video was a hit. The soundtrack featured the blazing track of Donna Summer starring Charlotte Rampling. The slightly-haunting short film has earned them a slot within the top brands at number eight as Anthony Vacarello makes us fall deeper in love with the brand one staple at a time. Closing up the list for women in the LVR Index are two brands we adore: Valentino and Balmain. Both brands display poise and sophistication in all of their designs, making their positions well-earned.
