Escentric Molecules has revolutionized the perfume industry with the help of Geza Schoen, a perfumier located in Berlin, the company launched in 2006 two fragrances based on one aroma. The first was Escentric 01, a synthesized combination of different intoxicating ingredients with Molecole 01, the “pure” form of IsoE Super. This chemically compounded molecular structure is the base of Escentric 01 creating 65% of the fragrance. Molecules 01 is revolutionary, in that it is no more than a single chemical aroma. It operates as a pheromone rather than a fragrance, with the subtle woody and velvety notes vanishing and reappearing over time, lending the wearer a radiance that cannot be defined. Escentric 02 and Molecole 02 were launched in 2008 based on the natural aroma Ambroxan, which is a part of the molecular structure of ambergris. Like with Escentric 01 and Molecole 01, Escentric 02 is created by mixing other aromas and ingredients with Molecole 02, while Molecole 02 remains in a “pure” state composed completely of Ambroxan.
