Triarchy is a denim brand that was founded in 2011 by siblings Mark, Adam, and Ania Taubenfligel, who shared a common love for denim. Initially, Triarchy was a direct-to-consumer brand that focused on creating high-quality denim jeans. However, as the brand grew, the siblings became aware of the negative impact of the denim manufacturing industry on the environment. Rather than ignoring the issue, they decided to take action and stopped production in 2016 to find a more sustainable and ethical way of making jeans. After three years of research, Triarchy was relaunched as a brand that prioritizes responsible manufacturing and sustainability. The brand not only creates denim but also aims to educate consumers on mindful consumption and the importance of simplicity.
