We recently caught up with Maria Sole Cecchi, the co-founder and creative director of Les Petits Joueurs to see how her quarantine is going. Many of us find ourselves scrolling through our photo albums as we day dream of past vacations and future ones to come. For this series we ask some of our favorite designers and fashionistas to share with us where they’d rather be, how they are spending their time, and what’s the first thing they’ll do when this ends.

What was the inspiration for your last collection?
The SS20 “Tropical Safari” collection is inspired by the vibrant
spectacles of the ocean and the savage patterns of the wilderness.

How will you be different after this experience? Is there anything you
realized you took for granted?
“I feel that this experience really helped me in understanding my priorities in life and how I want to work on my projects and on my brand in the future. It made me think about how our reality will possibly change and how we can all be ready for that newness. The thing I took most for granted was the importance of time, both for my mind and my heart.”

A special thank you to Maria Sole Cecchi.
