Zhou Rui is a Chinese singer and actor in Mainland China. Due to his love of music, he taught himself to play the drums, bass, guitar, and other musical instruments while he was still a student. Following this passion for music, he taught himself music theory.
In 2014, Zhou Rui released his personal debut music album, titled “Parallel”. In 2019, he won the Best Musical Fashion Award of Q China 2018 Music Festival and won the Fashion Pioneer Artist Award of the 6th Rayli Beauty Awards in 2018.

LVR: You have achieved success in both music and film. What is your secret to balancing both?
Zhou Rui: I’ve talked about the relationship between music and films before. Both of them complement each other. When I read a good story or script, it actually inspires me to create music. Therefore, it is only through good stories that I can write and create good music. The music that I write then helps me to understand and interpret characters better. For me, both things are complementary and must exist contemporaneously.
LVR: Many of your fans follow your daily looks. What’s your secret to a good outfit?
Zhou Rui: I think that my daily looks depend on the current environment and other different elements and factors. For example, I would like to do some rock music now, so in that case, I would prefer to wear some cool items such as a jacket and boots.
It feels good to calm down and experience life!
LVR: What is your ideal life status?
Zhou Rui: A slow rhythm of life is what I yearn for. It is a wonderful feeling to be able to calm down and experience what life is and enjoy every moment.
LVR: What three items do you currently love?
Zhou Rui: Sunglasses, earrings, and rings. These are the three items that I wear often. Because I’m doing rock music, I usually dress in a simple style, so I pay a lot of attention to accessories that will update and enrich my whole look.
