LVR Index December 2020 for Women
As we close 2020, we look back at all of the wonderful brands who literally stayed constant within our lives with innovation and creativity. One thing for sure is that the number one brand in our LVR Index for women this month, Gucci, was one of the biggest brands this year thanks to continuously entertaining us with stunning craftsmanship and marketing campaigns that brightened up our moods in the midst of a pandemic. Number two is the brand we all love and know Alexander McQueen. Their recent collections have only displayed a constant evolution of the brand, putting them in the spotlight within the fashion industry. Their romantic silhouettes and exaggerated volume have transitioned the brand into a new era, where their classic and modern designs mold to create something refreshingly beautiful and new. Claiming the third position for women this month is the logoless powerhouse brand Bottega Veneta. Their SS21 collection featured an array of bold blacks and bright colors that gave us something to look forward to for the up-n-coming season. Number four is Saint Laurent after showcasing the new season in the middle of nowhere: literally. Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello teleported his sleek designs into the Algerian desert, breathing into each staple an almost mystical and celestial feel. At five is the casual yet cool brand Nike, being one of the top selling brands of the year. It’s no surprise the brand had a big year thanks to their comfortable staples appropriate for anywhere. Balenciaga sits in the sixth position for women this month with their latest video game going viral. Following the new and inventive brand is Balmain with news that their recent collection evoked a sense of joy and hope. Intricate patterns, beautiful embellishments and sharp tailoring, no wonder the brand came in at seven this month for women in our LVR Index. Right behind them is Burberry continuing to move towards sustainability after having donated a lot of their used fabrics to students in order to reuse and repurpose. Moncler jumps into the ninth position after buying the famous Italian outerwear brand Stone Island, followed by Isabel Marant at number ten. The brand manifests itself with a level of elegance and minimalism the public continues to adore.
