LVRSustainable will join forces with Treedom on 2 projects focused on sustainability. Treedom is an online platform that plants trees in diverse locations by funding local farmholders. By buying a tree, Treedom directly finances small agroforestry projects throughout the territory. The philosophy is to realize sustainable ecosystems and allow thousands of farmers to support the initial costs of planting new trees, ensuring food autonomy and income opportunities over time. Treedom
Florentine organization, Treedom is the only online platform in the world where you can have someone plant a tree for you and then follow its journey online. Since it was founded in 2010 more than 1.000.000 trees have been planted in Africa, South America and Italy. The trees are planted directly by local farmers and bring environmental, social and financial benefits to their communities. In 2014 Treedom became part of the Certified B Corporations, a network of companies that stand out for high environmental and social performance.
Every tree on Treedom is geo-localized, photographed and has its online page.They can be kept or virtually gifted to others. Thanks to these features, Treedom’s trees engage people and represent a great communication and marketing tool for companies.

For the occasion of their 90th Anniversary, LuisaViaRoma will celebrate with the launch of an exclusive limited edition book edited by Rizzoli New York and written by Cesare Maria Cunaccia: LuisaViaRoma – Window to a Future Fashion World. Every copy sold of this book will plant a tree in collaboration with Treedom.
The book will be released in English starting from November 2020 by Rizzoli New York.The entire book is covered with a selection of stunningly beautiful discarded textiles and manufactured by Antico Setificio Fiorentino. Each copy will be upcycled from various textile waste and crafted into a unique design, meaning each book will be one of it’s kind.

MOD4 is the debut project created by Avawear, a company created by a team of professionals at LUISAVIAROMA led by Marco Ritratti, the head of Digital Marketing, together with Andrea Panconesi, CEO of LUISAVIAROMA. By downloading the app, you are helping to plant a forest with our collaboration through Treedom.
LUISAVIAROMA, an advocate for the coexistence between the real and virtual world, invests in MOD4, an app that blurs the lines between the real-world shopping experience and virtual interactive gaming. The app offers customers a unique user experience by giving them the opportunity to create their own avatars, curate their own virtual wardrobe by collecting fashion articles, compete and socialize with other in-app users by participating in fashion challenges, as well as the opportunity to purchase real life articles available on LUISAVIAROMA.COM.
To promote initiatives aimed at a conscious use of the tools at our disposal, we want to build a green forest, so that solidarity actions can be implemented even when resting at home. Every 10 downloads of the MOD4 app, a new tree will be planted, which will be followed and cared for during its first years of life, until it is productive.
