We recently caught up with Anouki Areshidze, the founder and director of the Georgian brand, Anouki to see how her quarantine is going. Many of us find ourselves scrolling through our photo albums as we day dream of past vacations and future ones to come. For this series we ask some of our favorite designers and fashionistas to share with us where they’d rather be, how they are spending their time, and what’s the first thing they’ll do when this ends.

What’s the first thing you’ll do when this passes?
I will just go everywhere, to the metro, to the streets – everywhere with lots and lots of people, I want to speak to everyone, friends and strangers! I will go to every single invited event…just everywhere!
What are your favorite pieces from your latest collection?
I pretty much really love those dresses now available at LUISAVIAROMA from ANOUKI SS 2020 collection, and, of course, don’t forget about those pretty bows!
How are you spending your quarantine?
Mornings start with my kids (4 boys, to be precise) doing their online classes, meanwhile I take care of home stuff (which includes lots of cooking and cleaning) and check work emails. Then I try to do online Yoga lessons…but that’s impossible here at my home, since there’s no chance to be alone in silence and focus on it. During the afternoon, kids mostly play outside with the dogs, while I am cooking (again) and later in the evening, we all sit together and watch movies (that must be the only thing that keeps them silent and calm, more or less). After 10PM, the kids go to sleep and that’s when my life actually starts – I read a lot, watch my favorite series and listen to some light jazz in the background. It’s been 5 weeks now!
