Known by many as ’It-girl Illustrator’, Hala Salem Achillas lends her artistic abilities to LUISAVIAROMA for a stylized story featuring the current home collections.
The character is an avant-garde, feminine and playful girl with a high sense of style. She’s able to mix different items, from a modern Established & Son studio chair while sipping coffee from a classic Etro Home espresso cup. Pillows by Hay Memory and Loretta Caponi create a poetic atmosphere, enhanced by Woouf’s pop decor in the form of a burger or popcorn pouf.
Hala Salem Achillas began her career in advertising before moving on to art direction and illustration. Along with being a fashion and lifestyle illustrator, the creative is a contributor for the ‘Voices’ page of Style.com Arabia. Her illustrations are easily recognizable and often feature whimsical patterns, mix medias and bold colors. As a visual person, Hala has a clear idea of the concept she wants to recreate.
The talented artists captures the essence of a selection of LUISAVIAROMA.COM’s most exciting décor in a series of striking illustrations. In her own words, “The idea was to show how the items can be combined with each other and with other collections. The character stays the same but always evolve with grace among the different atmospheres she’s able to create. The little charms in the illustrations represent her mood, from stars to flamingo, she strolls from an a scene to another, exploring the infinite possibilities that Luisa Via Roma offers.”
