LVR Index May 2020 for Women
Gucci, oh Gucci, we’re obsessed and so is the rest of the world. The number one spot this month is dominated by Alessandro Michele’s Gucci, after deciding in quarantine that the brand will now deviate from the traditional norm and do just two collections a year: better for the people and the planet. Balmain is second after being one of the biggest brands to provide aid throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. And of course Bottega Veneta is in the top at third after months of giving their clients a true user experience with new content and exclusive designs available in only certain parts of the globe. Nike is fourth after creating some controversial collabs that gave people something good to talk about. The more people talk, the better. The center slot this month is beloved brand Jacquemus, they continue to elevate their image by putting not just models at the forefront of their campaign, but real women of all ages, races, sizes and more: we love it. Saint Laurent snags sixth after cancelling their participation in fashion week, stating they will no longer adhere to the industry’s calendar. Balenciaga is the number seven spot this month as they rank as one of the most wanted brands of Q1. Versace comes in at eighth as they design more at-home clothing to “up your style game indoors”. Classic Dsquared2 enters the female list this month as the brand celebrates over 25 years designing luxury staples. And to finalize our list is Burberry. The British brand is focusing on their customers nearby as the recent pandemic has inspired them to look elsewhere to survive the recent economy.
