It is one of our favorite times of the year! We’re back in Capri to celebrate our biannual charity gala event supporting UNICEF to support children in need. The main LuisaViaRoma x Unicef event takes place Saturday, July 30th at La Certosa di San Giacomo with a star-studded guest list and will be hosted by Jamie Foxx followed by an exciting performance from the iconic Jennifer Lopez. It is sure to be a magical night on the stunning island of Capri immersed in jaw-dropping natural beauty and crystal blue waters contrasted by mountainous landscapes.
In light of our special summer gala event, we’ve partnered up with Italian shoe brand Paris Texas to create a unique capsule collection inspired by the glitzy southern island of Capri. The shooting for the editorial took place on the island with American model and Instagram star, Jen Ceballos.
The colors for the capsule can be found around the island itself: fuchsia is lifted from bougainvillea flowers blooming on cobbled streets, turquoise is a nod to the sparkling blue waters and silver is reminiscent of the glimmering moonlight that cocoons the island at night. Paris Texas has created four exclusive styles that celebrate the Italian dolce vita: from lace-up stilettos to platform sandals. There is a shoe that will fit any occasion, including exploring the dramatic seascape with a brand new flat style created specifically for the capsule.
