We wanted to first thank each person who shopped LVRSustainable during our 2-month campaign for Oxfam! The “Empowering Women, Improving Society” campaign was aimed to help Oxfam continue to support women and offer them the appropriate training and resources needed to pursue their business goals. With that being said, we are happy to announce that together we were able to guarantee 625 coaching sessions for female entrepreneurs in order to overcome gender inequality and promote new businesses respecting feminist principles, human rights, and the environment.
Discrimination, gender-based violence and lack of access to the labor market caused by a social structure with a patriarchal connotation make women’s conditions fragile.

Together with Oxfam, the women involved will be able to take part in several sessions to learn how to:
- Prepare a business plan
- Develop specific skills to undertake a profession
- Be aware of women’s rights and workers’ rights
- Set up adequate work organization policies
- Work safely for herself and the other women involved
- Set up sustainability policies related to the environment and human rights
