SLAMP was established in 1994 by designer Robert Zilani with the aim to create new, innovative lighting design, whose quality could be met with the excellence of industrial production. After uniting some of the top internationals designers such as Mendini, Cibic, Dalisi, Garro and Munari, the “Slamp Tube” light was born; leading to the start of SLAMP. Today with Creative Director Nigel Coates, its major characteristics are a curiosity for new materials and experimentation, the ability to be led by instinct, which is the youngest and most creative force of all, and the pleasure of providing anyone with a refined, functional item of design. SLAMP collaborates with many international designers and is one of the world’s most representative brand names in the field of decorative designer lighting.
