LVR Index July 2020 for Women
It’s an absolute pleasure to say that our number one brand for Women this month is the powerhouse brand doing it all: Bottega Veneta. After their recent colorway exclusive with us, we can’t seem to keep our hands off anything that comes out from the brand. Sleek, iconic and all crafted into impeccable designs, Bottega Veneta reigns this month. Following and continuing to stay in the top is the non-conforming luxury brand Gucci, changing the pavement for the future of fashion by minimizing the overflow of consumerism and bringing things back to basics. Balenciaga snags the 3rd spot in the LVR Index as the brand playfully challenges what’s expected on the runway and redefines itself with theme-inspired collections that put climate change in focus. Alexander McQueen jumps to 4th with nature-inspired looks that left the industry in complete awe. Number five is Saint Laurent, putting filmmaker John Waters as its new face for the brand. Jacquemus takes number six after showcasing another absolute stunner of a collection immersed in France’s beautiful countryside. We’re sure Jacquemus is here to stay, for good. Max Mara enters the list this month after debuting a collection full of neoclassical inspiration. Valentino stays strong in the list as it continues to merge the digital world with reality. Italian brand The Attico joins the rankings this month as the owners Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini continue to design clothing that showcase their love for glamour and sparkle. Balmain closes our list this month as the luxurious French brand continues to stay current and cool with looks that break from the normal mold.
