LVR Index May 2020 for Men
Pop culture’s Dean and Dan Caten win the number one slot this month as Dsquared2 celebrates over 25 years of creativity. Followed by Nike and Off-White which both have pretty much been owning top slots recently thanks to both brands focusing on their consumers needs when it comes to the collab game. Gucci tackles the fourth spot after Alessandro Michele announces he will deviate from the normal “Gucci traditional standards” and focus on designing only two collections a year: no more cruise, pre-fall and the other extras. Gucci will focus more on creativity and enhancing the experience, not watering it down. Stone island this month is in the center slot at fifth, as they have experimented a bit more with textiles, giving the consumer more for their money. Balmain sixth this month as they focus on their brand image by creating exclusive content with pop icons. After the pandemic forced all of us to stay home and stateside, Burberry decided to aim its focus on local markets and consumers, as they believe this is the key to growth in this period, giving them the seventh spot in our LVR Index this month. Amiri steals the eighth slot as the industry continues to refer to them as one of the next-generation brands to watch. Balenciaga holds the ninth position as they expand their storefronts globally and last but not least is Givenchy, designing some of the most coveted looks of the season.
