LVR Index October 2020 for Women
All hail the logoless iconic brand taking over wardrobes worldwide: Bottega Veneta. The brand is at number one this month for women in our LVR Index thanks to continuously producing top-quality designs with the most lusted-after materials out. Following closely is Parisian-chic brand Saint Laurent introducing to our seasonal wardrobes an array of impeccably tailored statement-making staples and accessories. Their latest handbag reinvention takes retro cues from past designs and molds it into a new modern essential. Moncler claims the third position for women in our LVR Index thanks to their iconic winter classics and bold movement towards a better future with sustainability. The brand has promised to take one step closer to a brighter future by committing to 100% carbon-neutrality within the next year. Alexander McQueen always goes big. At number four, the brand elevates our winter wardrobe with classic staples revisited with a modern twist. With Jonathan Anderson’s creative and ingenious approach to design, Loewe has been a top pick for us all this 2020. The brand’s latest collection features silhouettes that coexist with the covid pandemic, literally forcing distance between the subject and its surroundings. The Gucci craze is still here as they conquer our list at number six this month, followed by the beloved JACQUEMUS whom we all seem to be obsessing over lately with their iconic bite-sized accessories taking over streets worldwide. British Burberry has earned its position at number eight as they continue to fight the good fight towards a sustainable future in the luxury fashion world. The brand has partnered with IBM to create an App that traces products and materials to ensure their eco-friendly nature. Balenciaga has unleashed some pretty knockout shoe designs, including their collab with Vibram, which has rightfully put them in the number nine position. Closing up this month for women is a new entry: Roger Vivier. The brand recently went virtual for their 2021 runway show featuring Isabelle Huppert.
