The Rat is the first of the Chinese Zodiac animals.
Alert, instinctive, and quick-witted. Rumor has it that during the competition of the Jade Emperor the clever rat hopped on the back of the ox to cross the river in an effort to be the first one at the finishing line.
This year celebrates the dawn of the Metal Rat. If you happen to be from one of the years noted above, here’s some lucky things to keep in mind for the following year:
Lucky numbers: 2, 3, 23 and 32
Lucky colors: Blue, gold, and green
Lucky flowers: Lilies, African violets
