LVR: What are you working on at the moment?

Sofia:

• NETFLIX– I just spent four months shooting a Netflix feature film and truly cannot wait to share this next phase of my career with the world in 2020….
• MUSIC– I just released a record called I LUV U which marks my second collaboration with R3hab. The day of its release,  I LUV U was the most downloaded song in the WORLD…which was the most beautiful feeling. This song marks the beginning of a lot of music releases for me, and I can’t wait to keep sharing pieces of my heart with the world….
• UNICEF– Over the last year I’ve had the true honor and greatest privilege of working with UNICEF…from traveling to Brazil where I witnessed their life changing work and embraced the young girls and women who had been saved from senseless violence, to hosting the 25th Annual UNICEF Ball this month honoring UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Priyanka Chopra. Today, I have joined forces with UNICEF AMBASSADOR’s Pink, Halima, and Gigi Hadid on a campaign called “WE WONT STOP”- a campaign dedicated to raising funds for the protection of children in every corner of the world- the protection of a child’s right to live.

LVR: What are some social causes you are passionate about/Humanitarian & Charity work?

Sofia: I believe with every fiber of my being that there is no greater force in the world than that of an educated woman. I am dedicated to do all that I can to further the education of girls so that access to education is no longer a privilege, but an inalienable right. I feel so deeply grateful to work with UNICEF….who is committed to saving lives through education in every corner of the world.

I am also honored to be the first Global Ambassador of the Latin Grammy Cultural Foundation; the academy is dedicated to changing the lives of students from around the globe- students who otherwise would not have had access to an education- through the precious and priceless gift of a music education. Last month, I had the privilege of performing on stage with 5 remarkable musicians (students of the foundation) at the Latin Grammy’s Person of the Year Gala.

LVR: What do you do in your free time?

Sofia: I would go to the movies every single night if I could; so whenever I have free time, you’ll find me in a movie theatre. But my favorite way to spend my time is to spent it with my sister, my doll, my best friend, and my Pau♥️

Sofia: 2020: A New Decade. As this decade comes to an end, the promise of 2020 feels like a year of beautiful beginnings….a year of incredibly exciting new chapters….of captivating adventures….I hope for happiness for my family, I hope for peace, & I hope to keep being lucky enough to wake up every single morning and call my dream my “job”…
