What’s your favorite holiday memory?

My favorite holiday memory is when I was around 12 years old and I was living back home in texas.. After I told my mom I didn’t believe in Santa Claus anymore, she told me that I would regret saying that because Santa can hear me. The very next day, my sister and I were watching tv and we got a knock at the front door.. (my mom told us she was taking a bathe and to not bother her under any circumstances) and well, being the eldest.. I opened the door and it was Santa Claus!!! He told me he heard I didn’t believe in him anymore and I told him I was sorry and that I would start believing in him that year… I also said he looked just like Santa from the mall and he said… he is everywhere and full of magic all year round… and since then I will always believe in the magic.

Your favorite gift ever given to you and by who?

My favorite gift is always the matching pajama set my mom gets for her, my sister and I. She always gets the craziest pjs.. And every year I cringe more and more haha but it’s been a tradition in my family since I can remember and it’s something I find cute, no matter how ugly they are.

Favorite holiday song?

Oh without a doubt I love “blue christmas” by elvis presley. Listening to elvis presley christmas on vinyl is my whole childhood and it will forever be my favorite tune.

Favorite holiday movie?

Growing up, my favorite was always “frosty the snowman” because there is a part in the movie that always made me and my family laugh. The scene where frosty just comes alive.. All the kids are sooo excited and are shouting out names on what to name him! And one kid yells out “lets name him oatmeal!!” even then, we would laugh so hard.. Because how random is it to name a snowman “oatmeal?” it was so weird hahaha but it has always been funny to us.

Favorite holiday food and drink?

Hot chocolate and caramel popcorn wins this category, hands down!

Favorite holiday scent?

The smell of the christmas tree. So fresh and so clean.. I always wanted to sleep under the tree long after Christmas was over simply because the scent alone.

How will you celebrate the holidays this year?

This year I will actually be celebrating in tulum, on the beach and in a bathing suit.. Away from the cold!
