There is fundamentally an idea of craft in motion. It is style over fashion in its timelessness. That is part of its quiet power.

His fall collection peers back to the foundations of the house by proposing the question: What makes Bottega Veneta, Bottega Veneta? “There is fundamentally an idea of craft in motion. It is style over fashion in its timelessness. That is part of its quiet power,” says Blazy. His ethos strays from the disposability of the trend cycle and is grounded in the true essence of ever-lasting wardrobe foundations that guide the wearer through each one of life’s chapters –– summarized as “emotion in motion.”

The Sultry Resurgence of PAUL ANDREW’S Eponymous Label

Paul Andrew’s namesake brand is making its return for the fall 2022 season with a comeback collection titled “Back Into Focus.” Prior to the revitalization of his insider-adored label, the designer was most recently known for his time at the helm of Salvatore Ferragamo as creative director of the heritage brand — the first individual to assume that title since Salvatore Ferragamo himself.

Cultivating his sophisticated aesthetic and technical expertise alongside icons like Calvin Klein, Narciso Rodriguez and the late Alexander McQueen, Andrew has solidified his talent as an undeniable leader among the next generation of designers. Homing in on his masterful background, he initially launched his label in 2013 with a collection of women’s footwear; soon after, he expanded to men’s, and was the first shoe designer and the youngest brand to win the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund in 2014.

Entering the fall 2022 season, Andrew has a fresh perspective and revitalized creative ambitions.

“In this moment, I am focused on a return to creativity and am looking forward to building the business at my own pace,” said Andrew. “I’ve also taken this time to think about what the market needs right now. To that extent, the collection is smaller and more focused than what I was doing previously with my brand; less, but better. It’s also more directional and designed with a more fashion-forward woman in mind.”

Available to shop this month, the Season One collection embraces the concept of “New Eroticism” –– a notion that feels entirely of-the-moment for this point in time. As told by the brand, this collection perfectly embodies the Paul Andrew woman: “She is sultry and likes to bare skin, but never in a tacky way; she is simply confident. She is interested in all areas of the arts, is well-traveled, inquisitive, and very carefully considers everything that she consumes.
