Shop the CR Runway Trend: Ruffles

The ruffle may be the sweetest, flirtiest addition to a top or skirt, but when blown to outsized proportions, the result is all drama. Case in point: the sweeping floral-print Giambattista Valli gown trimmed with cascading ruffles, the hot pink Dundas creation with frills outlining every curve, and the heart-strewn Rodarte design with a whopping in-your-face shoulder. Understandably, it might be a bit much for the everyday, so we shopped out tops, skirts, and dresses with just a hint of a frill, along with more out-there options for special occasions.
