LVR Index January 2021 for Men
From North Face to Japanese famous manga icon Doraemon ©Fujiko-Pro, Gucci is winning in the luxury game thanks to their innovative collaborations and lack of fear to break from the ordinary mold. At number one for both men and women this month in our LVR Index, Gucci continues to reign supreme with GG logo motifs and their traditional House web. Immediately following is the Italian outerwear company Stone Island recently handing over their legacy to Moncler to join forces and create innovative new styles. Right after the powerhouse brand comes in another, Dsquared2. Their SS21 collection brought in their signature tailoring but with a bit of contemporary edge. Punk rock or not, the collection is hot. Following at four in the LVR Index for men is Amiri adding a touch of Los Angeles to every staple. An array of blues met with flirty paisley prints and classic silhouettes, Amiri right now is on fire. The middle slot this month for men is Alexander McQueen with the brand aiming to continue its expansion by opening more storefronts in the near future. Nike falls back a few slots but that doesn’t change the amount of cult following the brand carries with it. By focusing on teamwork and creating iconic designs hard to get a hold of, the brand continues to soar within the industry amongst its luxury competitors. Streetwear brand Palm Angels snags the seventh position. The Milan-based brand recently dropped a unique plush teddy bear with an embroidered logo to keep with you in bed in case you need to snuggle up. Interesting right? That’s exactly why this brand stays at the top. Tom Ford makes an entrance into our list for Men’s this month at number eight, starting off our new year right. The brand’s ready-to-wear collection is chic, modern and transmits tailored elegance in each design. Balenciaga follows right behind the American brand at number nine after releasing an RPG-style video game to showcase their Fall 2021 collection. And closing our list this month for men is none other than the beloved British heritage brand we all can’t seem to go without: Burberry. Just in: for the Chinese New Year the brand released a stunning video showcasing rebirth and a new world to celebrate the Eastern Asian holiday.
