Founded in Carrara, Italy in 2014, Bloc Studios transforms raw, industrially salvaged marble into thoughtful everyday objects. With the philosophy that each piece of marble contains a unique story waiting to be told, Bloc Studios preserve the inherent qualities of raw material. Marmo Domestico by Swiss designers Thévoz-Choquet is a collection that re-uses excess parts of marble blocks from the quarries of Carrara. Entirely Made in Italy from locally sourced materials, the collection presents a range of domestic design objects.
