This year, it’s all about wellness. From meditation, eating healthier, and feeling comfortable at home, we’re all about being at our best shape yet, mental and physical. Get to know Josefiine HJ as she walks us through her wellness routines and what her favorite looks are to break a sweat in.

What is your morning routine?
First thing I do when I wake up is take shower, my day hasn’t really started before I have my shower. It makes me feel fresh and ready for a new day. Then I wash my face with just water and apply a face mask. I don’t use a face mask every day since I don’t wanna do too much for my skin and maybe end up stressing it out. While I wear my face mask I’ll make a cup of coffee or hot water with lemon or almond milk matcha. It really depends on my mood and what kind of day it is. I drink that with a big glass of water and my vitamins and supplements. Oh and I’ll always put on music. I totally forgot that. I’ll put on music before I take a shower. In the morning I like to play something a bit jazzy. It just puts me in a good mood.
I wash my mask off and then I apply my serums and face cream and then I let that sit and dry for half an hour before I put makeup on, if it’s a day that needs makeup. If I don’t have meetings during the day I won’t put makeup on, I like to let my skin breathe.

What is your favorite way to keep fit?
I love walking. I walk to almost everything when it’s in the center of Copenhagen and besides that I also go for long walks in the forest or on the beach or somewhere else where I feel like my soul can breathe. I try to go to the gym 3-5 times a week, but it depends so much on my mood and schedule. I love love love doing Pilates at home, it makes me very calm.

Which are your must-haves for working out?
A good black sports bra, a pair of black leggings, that aren’t cropped, a big pullover, white socks, white sneaks, a cap and my air pods.

What’s in your bag?
Besides the obvious like phone, keys, hand sanitizer and wallet I have;
Lip balm
Sunglasses
Notebook and pen
Airpods
Hand cream
Eye drops
Eye masks

Favorite detox tip?
Hot water with lemon and drink a lot of water during the day. Your skin will thank you too.

What’s your favorite meal?
My favorite meal is definitely dinner. I’m having a hard time picking just one thing I would eat because I love food and I love so many different types of food. But I would definitely go for something where I would feel really good afterwards. So something healthy like a bowl with a lot of veggies and maybe some quinoa and tofu or falafel. Or a rice noodle salad with a side of dumplings or wontons. Or now during the colder seasons a bowl of a really yummy warm soup.

How do you relax with such a busy schedule?
I go for long walks in nature, I meditate and I just make sure to take time for me. Have a night every once in a while where it’s just me and my thoughts and some candles. I. write my thoughts down, I’ve found it really helpful in order to keep my mind tidy and organized. I need all of those messy and complicated thoughts out and the best way to do that, at least for me, is to write them down.
I have everything in my calendar so I’m always aware of how my week is going to look and I know I have a lot of things but I try to take one thing at a time. I have a rule to not stress about the next thing until you’re done with the first thing. And that helps me a lot to only focus on the thing I’m doing in that exact moment.
Seeing my family, boyfriend and friends really relaxes me and grounds me and reminds me that love is really all that matters and as long as I have that everything else will fall into place and that really calms my soul.

What’s on your playlist now?
Frank ocean always and forever.

What is your favorite designer?
There’s so many amazing brands but if I had to cut it down to three I would say: Prada, Givenchy and The Row.

What inspires you?
Everything. It’s hard to say what exactly inspires me because I think that creativity comes in such a flow and it depends so much on your mood and where you are in life. So the exact same book can inspire you in two totally different ways depending on where you are in life; if you’re feeling lonely or if you’re over the moon in love the outcome will be totally different. So first of all I think I inspire myself, looking within and experiencing every feeling and thought within myself helps me get inspiration from things like the ocean, nature, colors, books, sounds and scents. Feelings inspire me a lot. I love taking a feeling and then try to squeeze that really abstract feeling into something so simple as a photo. But of course I also get inspiration from editorials, different collections and lookbooks, from people on the street etc.
I think inspiration is everywhere it just all depends on how you look at it and where you wanna go with it.

Which are your favorite pair of sneakers that you own?
Uugghhh, I can’t pick one I love sneakers so much. But I think my Off-white x Nike air Jordan 4 white has to be at the top. Love new balance and just everything Nike.

What makes you happiest?
My family, boyfriend and friends. They mean the world to me and nothing would be worth having if I didn’t have them.

What’s next for you?
Focusing more on me and my sister’s jewelry brand @79hour. I’ve been so busy and I haven’t spent as much time on it as I really want to. We have so many creative direction ideas and new design ideas and my entire body just aches to put more focus on that. I’m really excited that I think there’s a really big future for our brand.
